The afternoon was empty; the school was at its end for the day. Splish, splash - the noise of mingling was heard through the school's indoor pool, and only one person was occupying it, a male. There was nothing odd or uncommon to see, except for the fact that the male was swimming in his school uniform with his socks. Surely, if a school staff were to see, things were to get pretty disastrous. However, this boy was not that normal, feeble boy most would know - it was that un-normal, darker side - the shark.
Coming out of the clear water to take a deep breath, Kouyami, no, Yami leaned against the edge of the pool. His hair sticking against his forehead, slick and wet. The shark-eyed boy shook his head, successfully shaking a few droplets of water out of his hair. He breathed in the humid air and wrinkled his nose bitterly and pressed his forehead against the deck. From behind, he looked like a helpless student, seemingly pushed down into the pool, but that was not the case.
Sometimes, excitement took over and he would escape it all in water. Water, ha. He didn't think of it as water, but rather as blood. That oozing, red, thick liquid. Yami stifled a mocking laughter and forced his foot against the side of the pool, powerfully kicking himself toward the middle of the pool. He laid on his back, floating along side it in a grimful thought. With a small scowl, Yami turned and kicked his foot, diving within the six feet of water. Six feet of water, six minutes without breathing. It was easy.
Members of the swimming team would ask beg him to join the team, but he would always refuse those pathetic low-lives who had nothing of great worry. Six clean minutes had passed and the Isonade popped out of the water. Was six minutes without breathing was his max? No, not at all. He could tackle the ten minute mark if he wanted to try, he was absolutely confident and never trembled. His confident aura was able to be sensed throughout the atmosphere.
Kouyami stiffened in the water and dug within it, letting his one eye be the only thing seen above the pool-level. Narrowing his shark-like eye, he frowned; someone was near. Not a normal person, but... but a cursed person, perhaps?

Rubedo was walking around the pool for a bit looking down in it. He wasn't much of a great swimmer at all but he didn't care. He just always relax when it comes to swimming. He was able to see his reflection as usual. The reflection of a monster as usual. He was used to the image already from all the time that he had stared into the mirror.
Taking a deep breath he went into the water and started swimming. It felt great to him because of the cool touch of the water. Good thing that it calmed him down so it won't be easy to get too angry for his own good and everyone's good around him too,
The Kikelatami then felt his lungs pounding for air. Great he needed to go up as fast as he can in order to live. Quickly he rushed up to take as much air as her can. If only he can be a great swimmer. Oh well at least it ain't that bad since he doesn't like competition much. Especially if he lose.
Quickly the Ghost of Death dived down the water and swam as fast as he can around the pool for a bit. He wanted to practice even if he doesn't want to join the swim team. As he reached half way he rushed up as fast as he can.
That was when he noticed someone entering into the pool. He had never seen the person before so did they go to the same school? If so then he must not pay attention to him much or they not in the same class at all.

Holding onto the edge of the pool, the shark-boy's eyes snapped to the center of the pool, sensing the presence of boy, not a familiar person, but... - that other boy was undoubtedly cursed, as said his shark-senses. Thank goodness for his beast within. "F*ck." cursed the Isonade as he pushed back his bangs sloppily. He thought he had this pool all to himself with no one here, it must have escaped him to even think that. Kouyami pounded his fist against the upper ground-level and thrusted one leg over the pool and then the other.
The fellow hated company, he hated unfamilar people, he hated everything. But, of course, meeting unfamilar people was an expertise of his other half. With a flip of his eye-patch, a snap of his left eye opened ,"Eh? Ah? Y-Yami-chan?" he questioned surprisingly, but was even more shocked at the wet coldness that suddenly swept across his body. He pouted and held himself - he didn't bring any extra clothes, and he was most likely going to receive a cold from this outcome.
"You could have warned me!" a playful whine murmured, yet, as he turned his head, his eye blinked in sudden realization. Someone had been there all along? How embarrassing, and he was talking to himself, too! This certain side of him didn't have those instincts his darker half had, so basically, he was clueless to his surroundings. "Ah, hi!" Kouyami giggled girlishly and waved to the boy. He blinked once more and covered his mouth, suddenly coughing. Gee, he already had a cold?
"Haha~! I didn't know someone was in here! You almost scared me!" the blue-haired teen grinned, being friendly as he is.

Rubedo saw the boy switch his eye patch. How come? Oh well it must be nothing maybe it was a medical thing. He wasn't so sure and he didn't really care that much since it wasn't any of his business. Still curiosity was starting to get the better side of him.
He started swimming up to the boy who had just talked to himself for some reason. It was really strange. Does he have the mental multiple personality disease? He didn't really know but then again maybe it just better that he doesn't know.
"Ah, hi!"
At his words the boy nodded. " Hey. " he said with a friendly smile on his face. He then noticed the boy starting to cough. Was he getting cold or did he already have one? If so then he should be swimming much and pushing his body over its limits.
"Haha~! I didn't know someone was in here! You almost scared me!"
" Oh really I'm sorry about that. " he said chuckling a little. " By the way my name is Rubedo Kikelatami. "

" Oh really I'm sorry about that. By the way my name is Rubedo Kikelatami. "
Kouyami perked his ears at the sudden introduction from the younger boy and grinned as he adjusted his eye-patch on correctly, trying to make it feel more comfortable for himself ,"Ooo! My name is Kouyami! Kouyami Bryn... - ah... Kouyami Brynhild... uar." he unsurely answered, it was always the last name that had made things tough for him - prounouncing the last name was not an easy feat for him. Shaking his head, he fixated his eyes on Rubedo ,"It's a pleasure meetin' you, Rubedo!"
The Isonade glanced down at his own wet clothes and made a slight, pouty face at it ,"Great, now I'm gunna have to walk home wet... and I don't have any extra clothes since my extras are all wet..." he murmured, talking mainly to himself. The cold sensation with every sensitive movement made him shiver and cough just a little. He pulled up his sleeves, just to meet the undying beads of blue and silver - that cursed bracelet that identified each Brynhilduar as a cursed animal. Kouyami giggled and pulled his sleeve back down, just to simply avoid that bracelet.
"Hey, hey! Do you like swimming?" the fourteen year-old asked ever-so happily, trying to push away thoughts of the family curse away. He had a lot of friends outside the family, but they didn't know anything about the real him. As for his family relatives, he attempted to stray away from them at times, but it was hard not to get to know a cousin ,"I never really expected anybody to be here, so I was just wonderin'..."

"Hey, hey! Do you like swimming?"
Rubedo nodded " Yeah swimming is great. " he said smiling. It was weird talking to the boy since his eyes weren't like what they were before but oh well. It doesn't matter that much since he doubt they would ever really talk to each other again anyway.
"I never really expected anybody to be here, so I was just wonderin'..."
The teen nodded not blaming the boy much at all. It was rare to find someone around here for him too. Was swimming starting to become a boring sports to people? Hopefully not even though he doesn't like it as a sport much he didn't want swimming to begone. It was almost like a child giving up one of their toys that they don't touch anymore.
The red hair boy didn't really know what to say next at all. Still after a while he had an idea on what to say. " So do you come here often? To swim you know? " he asked curiously.

Kouyami lifted his one eye up to the high ceiling above them, beginning a long pause at the thought. He had not realized it, but he did wander into this place to swim often - maybe not as himself, but as his other half. So, he couldn't really say he came here often because of so. Then again, it was his body that was swimming -- usually, thinking like this made his head hurt. "Umm... ah, well. Kind of. Yeah. Maybe...." he halted and blinked a couple of times ,"I don't know." The Isonade wasn't that indecisive, just having another mirror made things a bit more difficult.
He could feel his body slightly adapt to the coldness against his skin from the still-cold clothes he worn ,"How long have you been swimming, Rube?" There he had went, he had began to give a short nickname for the other boy. Kouyami fiddled with a lock of his hair, rubbing it between his fingers thoughtfully and smiled mischievously ,"Hey! Hey! You know what? You know what?" a sudden gasp came, but another long stop came as nothing was brought out ,"I suddenly forgot." Gee, there was an awkward silence between them, and awkward silences made him shudder in anticipation of what would be coming next. Kouyami's smile turned slightly dim in the remembrance of his duty - to not make close friends. Sometimes, his head would fly off in daze and he would start chatting with other people, it was hard, really -- to ignore people. Kouyami wrinkled his small nose and jumped into the pool with his wet clothes on; he couldn't stand being out in the cold, and being in the pool would lower his chances of getting a cold. Ah, he held onto the edge of the pool and blinked. Why the heck did he do that? He wasn't as good as his other half, and he had lost his ability to swim years ago.
Kouyami gulped hard, fear suddenly plaguing his face ,"A-Actually, I forgot how to swim." [/ul]
