Kilala glared at the group of female classmates surrounding her. They were being a nuisance as usual and she had every way to fight them. Her hands clenched at her sides, the muscles pumping angrily in her arms. Getting in trouble wasn't her issue, it happened all the time. Nothing new to her, so fighting was no big deal. There was one problem. "I'll fight you, Ren-san. I'll fight you all at once, but there's just one difficulty."
"And what's that?" The girl called Ren replied. "We're not afraid of you."
"Shouldn't we be? She's scary, Ren-chan," another girl whispered. "There are more of us. But even you know she's called a Devil."
"Well," the houkou continued nonchalantly. Kilala's arms crossed her chest and she leaned on her heel in boredom. "If you were strong, it'd be more interesting. But you four are just a bunch of weak sissys. Hardly worth the effort." Her gaze pierced the three other girls, but Ren didn't flinch. Kilala looked at her a moment, but didn't smile. She never smiled at anyone, no one ever seemed to deserve anything but a sneer. Just watching the girl trying to find a way of intimidation seemed enough to frighten them.
You don't scare me Brynhilduar," Ren said. Her shaking voice betrayed her courageous comment. The houkou didn't flinch at theblatant disresepect the other girl showed her.
"How foolish," the youth laughed menacingly. She took a step forward and all the girls shyed away. "It's too bad your actions don't support your words. Now I'm giving you one more chance to back off, but if not. I'll take you here and now."
